It will most likely run, but not well. Your computer should have a separate graphics card, not an integrated one on the motherboard. You can add one, and turn off the integrated graphics. My Resident Geek suggests an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 or better. Make sure whatever card you choose will work with your computer. The two main things to check are the card slot type (AGP=older, PCI-E = newer) and the power supply type and wattage rating.

Does the integrated video have its own dedicated ram?

The rest of it should run SL pretty good, it's just the video that needs attention.
FWIW I still have a AMD 3700 SINGLE core processor on another system and it runs sl just fine, so that 4200 dual core shouldn't be a problem.

And if you decide to purchase a video card it is very important to make sure it will fit in your case and onto your mother board. Some of the graphics cards on the market are huge and will not fit in even a mid tower or there may be components that interfere on the mobo. It only takes a couple of minutes to install a video card. If there is a computer shop in your area and you are not familiar with techy stuff then I would suggest paying them a visit. Just unplug all of the cords going to your tower and bring it with you. You will not need to bring your monitor, keyboard, mouse or any cords with you. They should be able to fix you up with one that will fit your machine and tell you if you need a larger power supply ($50+/-). Most of the time if you are nice they will even install the video card for you at no charge.

I think Nividia's laptop video cards have "M" after the number.
