I came across and abandoned lot (owned by Governor Linden) and someone had placed a rental box on it. Someone was trying to rent out Linden land. Has anyone seen something like this?

Might've been abandoned with a rental box on it, though. You can always file a ticket.

The box wasn't t there when it was abandoned, it was put there by somebody else.

File the ticket anyway. In the meanwhile, put a box around that box and explain to LL what you did.

Definitely file a ticket! And an AR against the person that owns the rental box, because that's one heck of a scam.
