hello, sorry for my english at first it's not my native language. I cant connect to Second live i did not know why, i use the same password to connect to the website without problem but since this afternoon impossible to connect inworld....??
the error message is login failed...you cant acces with this computer i use the same computer since one year.. i really dont understand . Could you help me please Thanks

The Grid Status report (available on this site) says this: Rolling Restart in progress Posted by Status Desk on October 3rd, 2008 at 09:40 am PDT There is a secondary Rolling Restart (to server version 1.24.  in progress. We expect this to complete within 5 hours. Please watch the Status Blog for detailed information, which will be posted after the Rolling Restart has completed. I'm not sure if you'd get a "Log-in Failed" message if affected by the rolling restart---maybe someone else will come along and say if that's possible. But if it IS the Rolling Restart that caused your problem, the solution would be to just try again.

If you have a router, try resetting it and see if that helps. Otherwise, you need to go to the Support page on the website and put in a ticket or, if you have a Premium account, talk to someone on Live Chat. If you're Basic, make sure you use the 'Special Questions - Basic account or Guest login' ticket type, or they won't answer.
Edit: Oh, I didn't know about the restart. In that case, you might try logging in a few more times before talking to Support.

I had this problem a while ago, Charlie, and like you there seemed to be no reason whatsoever. It was a completely random thing. I just looked up your profile inworld, and I see you're a paid user. If you're a *premium* paid user (ie: you pay a certain amount to LL every month) you can use the Live Chat option available on the SL Support site: http://secondlife.com/support/Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the yellow 'live chat' bar, then select the 'Outworld Live Chat' option. You'll be connected to someone who can help you. They'll ask you a couple of security questions first, then will hopefully fix things for you. My similar problem was fixed in a matter of minutes.

I'd restart the modem and routers just in cases. It's not like it's gonna hurt anything to do it
