I'm having this problem when taking photos in world. Really started about two updates ago. I take a snap, and it takes about 6-8 seconds for it to capture to save. I have a Gforce 8800 vid card, 3g mem and a Intel Core Duo. I've tried removing constraints, changing sizes... eck eck eck but nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?

I take my SL pics at 3200 x 2000 resolution. On the main viewer, taking a pic results in a 20 second blackout freeze, and like you, I have plenty of power in my PC / video card etc.

With the Release Candidate, though, the pause is no more than a second or two. So I use that instead. No idea why the hell the "finished" product fails so badly, yet the beta version nails it every time.

Glad to see I'm not the only one having this issue. New computer, v.good specs, etc etc, but suddenly taking photos takes FOREVER. It's a bit better with the latest update, but not by much..

LL, go check all the wires out back - one of them is loose. Well, actually quite a few of them are, but if you could locate this one and stick it back in, us photo-holics would be grateful.

I dunno. I have an nvidia 7300 GT, 2gigs ram and a celeron D @3.2ghtz. Snapping a photo takes a couple of seconds at most - but I play in a window. I haven't tried this full screen.

/wonders if this is related to the nvidia freeze bug I suffer from so much
