am i glad i found you guys i dragged my search window to the bottom of the screen now its gone forever, if i click search nothing happens, i have even reloaded the programme now I'm suck looking about 12 years old that's OK but I'm 57. Please can someone help Sol

Click on and edit a HUD you have on, the roll your mouse track wheel - it will let you see things past the current screen.... then just drag the wandering window back to where it should be.

thanks for your prompt reply its not a hud as such its the search tab on the bottom tool bar iv tried clicking on it and scrolling nothing happened. Sol

Selecting an unrelated HUD on your screen as Talon suggested will let you scroll back and enlarge your view so you can see where the Search window is at currently.

I've click on a unrelated hud and done as you said nothing the only time anything happens if i click on screen then it zooms, be patient with me.

Yeah, HUD zooming won't help you with that.
Ok, this is a little ugly but it should get your window back.
First, see if you have an Advanced or Client menu showing. If not, press Ctrl-Alt-D to enable it.
Next, go into that Advanced menu and pick Debug Settings… from near the bottom.
In the window that appears, type in FloaterFindRect2 (it will fill in the name once you have typed enough if it). once you have that setting displayed, press the "Reset to default" button.
That should fix it.

thanks for the fix on the floating search window i have now the same with the build window i have use the procedure as before but finding the floaterbuildoptionrect but it just stays 00 coordinates excuse spelling. thanks in antis. sol
