I'm trying the Nicholaz viewer for the first time since hearing a few forumers mention it yesterday & today. I noticed instead of "Communicate", it has "IM" and "Friends" buttons. The groups list appears under "IM" but there's no "Activate" button like there was in the Linden 18.5.3 viewer. I cannot figure out how to activate the group tag... which I need to do if I want to rez stuff in my rented house. I've looked and looked... can anyone help? Thanks muchly  |

Right-click on your av and select Groups. That'll pull up your list and let you activate whichever one you like.

Yeah, when they did those UI changes, not EVERY change they did was stupid.. Unifying the two "friends" lists, and unifying the two "groups" lists.. but unifying the chat window and IM tab, and the horrible way they unified the group AND friends windows INTO the IM window.. that's too much.
Similarly, to drop people off your "Friends" list or to modify their "checkboxes", you'll need to open the actual "Friends list" (there's a handy blue button for that though)
