To those complaining in the Classifieds!

I do agree with the fact that it's kind of spamming the classifieds if you advertise everything separately, and cross post stuff....

Do you realise the classifieds section IS NOT FOR DISCUSSION? I mean, you can't ANSWER any threads there. Try clicking ""reply", it's not allowed! So if you want feedback on any issues, don't use classifieds.

because most of the morons that are doing what we are bitching about...will not look elsewhere...and maybe, just maybe, they might actually READ the posts we put there when they are posting themselves

Exactly It's been a good long while since we had drama down in classifieds.

stop using new products to air your grievances. its not good for business when people are trying to check out items and see snivelling or snarky remarks between designers. i wasnt just a little offended by this. i was really pissed. and having the audacity to speak for everyone else using "we think this . . " WTF!!11 : - ( : (((( !!!

i feel like boycotting any shops of any designers who are being so petty. your egos must be enormous that you think you can speak for every other designer in sl. tearing apart a new designer like that. you know you should really be ashamed. would have been so easy to im the person in world and offer help to a new designer. really says alot about the people posting such hostile crap. left such a bad taste in my mouth.

i don't know what you are all talking about, but i am now going to go see what this 'classifieds' is... i haven't been to that part before.

i'll tell you this, i have no resepct for people who create unnecessary drama, and i would never ever do business with someone like that. if you are talking trash and also trying to get me to buy your goods while doing so... you are so misguided.

and i'm certain i am not the only one who avoids that sort of nasty business practice. if you are talking trash, it's going to work against you, not help you.

Question: Why do 90% of my "clicks" on this website result in error messages? Most of the time "503" error message. It is so bad, that I actually couldn't sign up through Second Life when I started, but went through the CBS.com webpage (CSI:NY - sign up and downlowd on that webpage the ad lead me to).

Heh..you should have seen classifieds back when rating threads and commenting was allowed. It was like Roller derby on acid.

The only active moderator we have at present is Aki Linden, a temp who is graciously helping out. She appears to be responding mostly to AR's, so if you object to a post in classifieds, just open it up and press that little triangular icon in the lower left.

That's all you can do, she appears not to be reading the forums for the most part.

*Points to her signature* The spat in classifieds is clearly against the rules of that forum, as spelled out in its sticky. If we had active moderators, they would have at least pointed that out, and possibly removed the posts. As it is, all anyone can do is AR the posts or just ... let it go.

Well, I totally agree! Im sure not a pro, Im just a simple country girl, and Im sure my ads are pretty lame sometimes, if im doing something that annoys people..I'd rather be told simply hey, got a suggestion for you, I felt so sorry for the person that one person was raggin on. Geez..I feel like giving out hugs.

I don't like that kind of bitching anywhere, but I was mostly concerned about why people would even post their little rants in Classifieds if no one can ANSWER there..... 0.o

And no, we prolly don't need ten single ads for ten products in a series, but that wasn't quite the point I think.

I wonder about anyone who finds it necessary to drag others into their own little drama. It's pretty pathetic.

I never use to use the AR button but have used it a couple of times too. It's the only way to get the mods attention these days which is pretty sad. They are usually things that I normally wouldn't consider AR'able.
