Drag the box out of your inventory onto the ground. Click on it first to see if it will automatically drop the contents in your inventory. If not right click> select open then copy the contents into your inventory and then from there drag them onto your land.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Most likely. If the house will go over your prime limit that is the message you get.

Yes, but this one would be fairly simple, I'd think. lol

Brandi, how big is your land? You get 117 prims/512m.

There's a KB article dedicated to it, there's even a video tutorial for it. The problem isn't that LL isn't providing the answers.

That's roughly 63 prims total, for everything you might want to put out. Ace's Spaces & Blip have some nice low prim houses.

Edit: OK, 65. lol Most houses will list the prim number on the display or box. Otherwise, assuming you can actually pull it out of inventory, you can right-click>edit, click the 'More' button on the edit window, and the prim number will be listed under the General tab.

Maybe take it to a sandbox and rez it there, if you can't get the prim count elsewhere.

I feel for you Brandi. I did exactly the same thing when I was new. Is your parcel 288 m or do you have 299 prims?. If your land is 288, you have very few prims included with the land. You can add prims by buying land in the same sim. The parcels don't have to be attached to each other but they have to be in the same sim. You can use the prims from all the parcels in just one parcel.

Or if you have 288 prims, you may be able to modify your house. Some things you buy can be modified and some can't. If the house is modified, rez the house in a sandbox and take away parts of the house you can do without (take into your inventory so it is in a separate file...don't delete) Does it have stairs? You can fly or put in a ramp. If there are any parts you don't need, you can take them away and lower how many prims (parts) your house is made up of.

Good luck and welcome to SL....after the steep learning curve, it can be kinda fun.

I have a free 10 prim house on my land or on SLX that you can use, Brandi.

Also be sure all the prims on your land are ones you want....did you put them there, or are there trash ones left over from others, or hidden underground?
