I want to buy a cool, visual party game for a club for an Xmas party. They have a dance floor etc.

Can someone recommend a good place to try these out, or suggest specific ones which are fun and nice?

Might not be a game, but a step-on triggered effect etc.

When I was looking for party games for my birthday earlier this year, I came across a pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey game made by Redd Columbia. (I *think* it's Redd with two d's - if you can't find it in search, try it with one.) I believe the name of the store is RC Creations, but I'm not certain.

Fnordian ___ (something I can't remember, darn it!) has a bubblewrap that you can rez on the floor and walk on to pop the bubbles. It has sound effects, and the bubbles regenerate after a few seconds so you can walk on them again.

I've had a rough couple of weeks and my recall isn't working as well as I'd like for the names - if I remember when I'm next logged in, I'll try to write the names down and post here again.

I also found various balloons and banners on XStreet and in-world - and I think there is a party hat in the Linden library in your inventory.

Thanks, Nic. I appreciate it!

Anyone else have any ideas, or know of a shop which specializes in Party decorations, games and clever fun?

Make your own, maybe?
Get a set of stocks and hand out some free snowball throwers. For added interest, put the stocks on a revolving disk.

Or do a game that requires no gadgets. Primtionary is popular. Have you tried it? The player is given a word by the hostess. They then have five minutes to build something that will allow the others to try and guess the word. The correct guesser is the next player.

Ice skating is fun, and it's the right season for it. But there are better places for a skating rink (if I am thinking about the same club you are).

Lindal's idea about Primtionary is an excellent one. You would not have to buy anything... you would just need someone to make up a list of words (easy, medium, and difficult) and then play host.
Pocket Greedy is low prims and I think up to 10 people can play.

A sort of "musical chairs": brightly coloured one-prim chairs, small enough that only one person can sit on each; sound a klaxon at random times throughout the event; the person who doesn't manage to find a seat is eliminated and one chair removed each time. Could be fun if you are sufficiently drunk, or lime me, have the mind of an eight-and-three-quarters-year-old.

It's not a game- but I have an object that generates balloons that float in the air, and one can click on the balloons to pop them. Guests do enjoy popping the ballons. It's called "99 Coloured Balloons+" by Pale Spectre.

That's fun. I've seen a sort of marriage between this and a sploder. The person who pops the most balloons is the biggest winner.

Sometimes the best idea is just to blow things up. :)

Play Charades. They have to use wordless gestures to communicate.
