Is there a way to teleport to a friend's location, or do they have to invite you to them?

If they let you see them on the map, you can track them and teleport to them. If you use emerald, and they are within range (is it draw distance?), you can tp to them using the radar. It's really polite to ask them first, as you never know what they are in the middle of. Might catch them picking their nose.
Otherwise, they can send you a tp invite to join them.

That's one feature I don't like about Emerald, at all. Who wants someone just showing up *SURPRISE, IT'S ME!* without being invited? That's just plain rude. Even in RL you'd at least knock on somebody's door before you just showed up in their bedroom/living room, whateva.

Yes, thanks. I see your points.

Just showing up *is* kind of rude...

It has excellent uses though. I have a paging system in the store (click on a pillar and it pages me). I can see which pager has been clicked on, so I know roughly where the person is, but being able to TP straight to them is excellent for that. And, of course, they want me to go to them.
