Greetings, Do you have any idea on how to disable the rotating particles which are triggered when a llSay or llOwnerSay, by a script in a prim, is executed? (i hope you see what about i talk). Of course without setting the Max Particle Count to 0 (i need to keep alive all other particle emiters), and without mute the prim, because i need to "ear" what is say. I just looked in the debug settings, but without much success. Thank you if you have a solution....and sorry for my bad english

The OP is talking about the "swirly chat particles" generated when an object chats in SL.

Make the objects stop talking.
It's a "feature" to let people know which object spoke.

From: Argent Stonecutter The OP is talking about the "swirly chat particles" generated when an object chats in SL. never noticed them myself, should be more observant.. or perhaps I'm lucky and don't go near things that chatter...

Oh yes. My wedding rings, for example. They "go to sleep" a couple minutes after I log in wearing them, or put them on. I get a little swirl of sparklies around myself and a helpful message from my rings telling me they are signing off, and how to wake them up again.
Annoying as hell.
