Somewhere Northeast of Bay City...

Having flown around and found more land north of Bay City (sowwy folks - no more coastline), an unfinished mole preserve called Hau Koda (you can look but not touch), following the newly laid down tracks of the SLRR up Mhindepinde, following the new regions making an elbow to connect to the Shermerville burbs, I messaged Marianne, who put on her diving gear and joined me...

There was a natural shelter in the area. I looked but no treasure :)

Marianne pondered a nearby jellyfish while I took a shot of coral which went well with my pet grape jellyfish

My theory is the rail will bend around and pass this area on its way eastward.

Do people ever get the feeling that I am everywhere? ;-)

Great find, Holo - I was wondering jes th' other night when they'd put some water in there. It'll make blimping much easier

Very cool!

This type of thing---these new 'surprise' areas---is one of the things that LL does so well. As long as some people there keep that spirit, the place will keep growing.

(thanks for sharing those)

I agree. I have to say it beats the usual fare by a mile.

I'd like to see what they do with what I call the "mole preserve"

btw did anyone see a San Simeon type place on the coast of western Gaeta?

That is the Helfell sim: it's a future info hub. Same as Hyannisport (the seemingly undeveloped sim north of Bay City - Docklands, Hau Koda, was initially planned as another infohub region). There's also the two new "follies" - the space station at Mos Ainsley and the pirate island at Castle Valeria.

Seems to be a lot of Mole stuff comin' out!

Edit: Here's a link to a handy map, showing some of the new area as originally envisioned. Hub Island was prob'ly killed in favor of the sim above Docklands, but even that seems DOA.
