I just got a new MacBook, the black one. I opened SL the other day and it opened fine. I didn't log in, just closed the app immediately. Since then I have not been able to open SL without it crashing right away. I have tried re-installing the application but no success! What do I do?!?!

Well, one thing you might try is uninstalling SL completely, including all subfolders where ever they might hid.
Also, make sure the video drivers are up to date.
