How to put up a sky box?

I am sorry if this question has been asked before. I have looked everywhere for the answer without success.

I bought a sky box today, and expected it to come with instructions on how to get it 300m up in the sky - but it didn't. Could anyone please advise?

Is it usual to build/rez at land level then elevate to the desired height, or should it be rezzed at 300m?

Really frustrated..any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

If it is all one link set, right click on it then choose Edit and then go to the object tab. Where it says position, the Z box and input what height you would like it at (300). That should send it right up.

If it is in more then one link set you may want to rez it in the air, but you need to be sure it is all on your property. You can make a cube on the ground.. tell it to go to 300M (like above) then fly up to it and rez the sky box on the cube. Then delete the cube.
I think the top solution will be the one you want. If you follow it that skybox should go right on up. :)
Good luck.

if you sit on a prim in it first, you'll go up with it. :)
