I tried to teleport a couple of places and couldn't tonight. Then I looked on the map. It looks like a checkerboard! Half the sims are red. At home base I was puttering with my profile, I thought, when I suddenly noticed the minimap was red. I had been logged out for I don't know how long.
Is everything alright in CA.?

After all, they don't have to leave techs to babysit the grid if it's down!  Does kinda make you wonder why they do it on Fridays, though. It's like there is a dartboard with the days of the week and for laughs, management put a magnet behind the Fridays to make the techs have to work more over the weekend! (I hope they are wage slaves and not salary. At least then they'd get overtime!)

heh its funny, sis logs in, home region is down, she submits a region down ticket, region is back up inside of 5 mins, 5 mins after that 4 neighboring regions go down, and stay that way. weee =)

LL is doing a series of Rolling restarts during which they are Implementing the Bug Fixes everyone keeps asking for. Nothing happens by Magic, the stsrem needs to be Modified once in a while.

Angel. Ah, but everything is run on magic smoke.. and once that smoke escapes, it all breaks!  Sorry, couldn't resist. They had network issues this morning for the website, but I'm thinking it's also bleeding over into SL with the new viewers. I didn't notice anything last night or today that suggests an attack of any sort, beyond the normal operations for Linden Labs.
