Prim Count of a House ??

I used to be able to click 'edit' on an object that I didn't own (like the cottage I'm renting) in order to see the prim count. It seems that I can't do that anymore (haven't been able to for at least a couple of weeks) and I'm not sure why. Possibilities:
- I may have reset some option/mode/preference
- Something in SL changed and no longer allows this
- I switched to the Nicholaz viewer about a month ago
- Just another SL fluke that may or may not clear up someday

Anybody have any ideas?

In the Tools menu, make sure that "Select Only My Objects" is turned off.

I had set that one day cuz I was trying to get a small object on the floor and kept getting the floor.
