Hi, i've bought a few trainers/sneekers and guns now and on my screen they show up white or mostly white with bits of grey and gold when it comes to my guns, when i ask friends what colour they are (without telling them what colour they should be) they tell me the right colour. So does anyone know why there not showing up right on my screen?

you might have your glow settings on. perhaps go in to preferences and see if you can alter your graphics settings so they are more basic.

Are you wearing a facelight? Or bodylights? Maybe the lighting is washing out the color of your prims.

Hi, thanks for the replys, i couldnt see glow settings in preferences and i dont know what face and body lights are, my setting are theses.
SL is running in a window not full screen. Quality & performance - low. Shaders - bump mapping & shinny, basic shaders - none. Reflection detail - terrain & trees. Avatar rendering - avatar imposstors. Draw distance - 96m. Max particle count - 1024. Post process quality - low. Objects - mid. Flexiprims - mid. Trees - mid. Avatars - mid. Terrain - low Lighting detail - sun & moon only. Terrain detail - low.
Any other ideas as i've binned alot of stuff i bought because of this before i worked out it was just showing wrong on my screen. Thanks.

Hi, you were right, as soon as i put basic shaders - atmospheric shaders on, i started seeing them how everyone else is. Thanks for all the help.
