Hey all,
I am looking for something to protect against crap like Warlocks HUD and other spell related crap. Is there a thing I can wear that will not allow someone to do this to me? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Also if there isnt a defense against it then what isthe best thing to get back at the person who keeps doing this to me?
Thanks in advance.

Sit down. Move to a place where push is not allowed, if it uses that, or outside scripts aren't allowed.
And AR them. Always AR them.

"Abuse Report." You can send in a report telling LL that a specific avatar/object/etc is causing you stress/grief/etc. Right click on the avatar, then click through "More" on the pie charts till you see "Report Abuse" or something like that. Fill out the form with as much info as possible, and send it in. LL gets thousands of these a day, remember, so it might take a few days for any action to occur.

Also, get a Mystitool. One of the best features is the "push tracker". It tells you who hit you and how many times. This is gold in Abuse Reporting.

and I'll say it again, because it's important.
Don't shoot back.
Don't orbit, don't shove, don't cage.. don't use anything that remotely acts like a weapon. Juts sit on a box (or a comfortable chair), file an abuse report, and mute them. If they keep on, just go someplace else.
If you can manage it, don't even acknowledge them. Don't build over their builds, don't make walls, don't do anything to them.
Griefers have armies of friends.. and they'll all abuse report you.. 100 times, in the same amount of time that you can only abuse report them once. You'll get suspended, they won't.. and even if they do, their account is expendable. You're the one risking your name, your home, your land, your friend's list, your money, your inventory, your business.. just by shooting back.

I agree. You have to be a tree. Griefers don't shoot trees because trees don't respond. I don't even send AR's. It only encourages the Linden liaisons protection racket and feeds their super hero fetish. Don't be a victim. Be a tree.

Those trees look like they have been griefed pretty badly... Sometimes it's also worth asking yourself who you are hanging out with, and why, also. I can't tell if that is relevant in this case, but it's just a thought. There are just hordes of people who have never once been orbited, abused or tormented in any way. And don't hang out with those who do, or go to places where it generally happens.

If this is happening in Linden sandboxes, you might be able to find a better controlled place to build or one that just isn't known as well to troublesome sorts. When you file one abuse report on someone, copy the text from the abuse reporter and paste it into that person's profile in the notes tab. Next time you just paste it back into the abuse reporter and change the needed details.
If the griefing consists of aggravating particles you can turn particle display off if what you are doing doesn't need particles. Aslo if you are filing abuse reports on particle grief you might prefer turning particles off first so you don't have to look at ten thousand goatse images (or what have you) while you are writing the report.

From: Desmond Shang Those trees look like they have been griefed pretty badly... Hm yes but they are still staunt in their determination, they may becoome a containerload of toiletpaper but in their heart they know they are a tree and still triumphing over their oppressors in the field of moral combat Well that's what 9/10 heroes surveyed after being turned into trees think anway according to Benevolent Evil Monthly.........
