anyone ever made a slingbox screen capture real time into secondlife? I would love for me and my fiance to be able to watch my slingbox on our secondlife tvs. I'm thinking video capturing the slingbox window with windows media encoder and streaming that into sl, would only need the bandwith for her to view since mine would be local.
Other than that are there any GOOOD video streams? say hbo? discovery? scifi , etc??? Even if you have to pay for em i think i would but need to know if they exist.

However you handle it on the server end, it has to be in a format that QuickTime can play. It's actually QuickTime that plays all video in SL.
Does Slingbox present an URL that you can access from the Internet? If so, just have your fiance paste the URL into QuickTime Player. If it works there, it will work as the media stream in SL.

i dont think its url based. its got some propetary client. i think i'd have to reencode it from the viewer application and stream from the reencoding. it would be close to live.
i just really want to find some good movie/tv stations not this free internet crap thats all over.
