Well, now that I have a grasp of what sort of land I am looking for I'd like to know about what to look for. I've read a couple land guides, but neither were very helpful. I'm looking for commercial land, should I be looking for something specific or will anything I find suffice? Right now I'm considering buying a few lots, one of which I have a recommendation for from a reliable source for a slightly higher price than the other two. Another is a nice little plot located on the side of a plaza, but across from it is a club, and the last lot really has nothing special about it, just a lot surrounded by other empty lots. I favor the first two, but I'm afraid that if I was to buy the one near the plaza that the club would cause lag. Would this be the case, should I just write it off and choose between the remaining two? Your thoughts and advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance <3

Sienna, this is not an easy question to answer because these are things that you have to weigh for yourself. Theoretically, you can put your store in the most remote place and it shouldn't matter, because we live in a point to point TP world. Few people actually walk around.

There are tradeoffs by going near a club. Theoretically, if the club is any good, it would have some traffic that may wander outside. But it would be a source of lag during events.

Honestly, I would put it in the place you like best. What matters most is getting found in search/classifieds/forum classifieds and getting the word out.

Okay, thank you for the info. I'll keep that in mind and just keep searching for now.

I would add that it's important you find a good landlord.

Even more than residential land, I hear horror stories about commercial renters getting burned by fly-by-night landlords. Pay for a week, wake up the next day, and the shopping mall's vanished and your items are in your Lost and Found folder.

Ask around before renting.
