Alright, this is weird. When I put on any pair of pants, this happens

That's a pretty common problem. The pants settings like length in this case aren't loaded correctly. Going into edit appearance mode, maybe playing with the sliders for your pants, if possible, should fix that. ^_^

Yeah sometimes you'll notice that pants that are supposed to be baggy are suddenly skin tight as well; that's a known bug, and easiest dealt with by editing appearance, or teleporting somewhere else right quick and returning.

I still have to chuckle even now, after a year in SL, having come to here from UK, where pants mean underpants (in particular mens underpants!) and the things you Americans and Canadians call 'pants' are called trousers.

We have trousers too, also slacks and jeans. Men's underware: briefs, boxers, bvd's, underpants, drawers, shorts Or one can "go commando".... no pants, no underpants that is. _____________________
