I'm wondering if there are any transgender friendly clubs out there that actually have people in them? I picked up a couple of LM at the TG resource center, but they seem to always be empty. Then I tried regular search. That was fun. Hit one teleportbutton after only reading the headline, and ended up on an unressed field, was shouted at in main that it was females only and then booted before I could retreat (I wrote a reply about reading to fast or something, but don't even I had time to send it before I was flying. Nice.) So, does anyone know of nice places with *some* life? That doesn't require boobage? (And yes I stop by regular clubs too, but ya know. I was still curious if such places existed as I might appreciate it.)

the only thing I can think of that might cause such places to be empty, is most transgenders do not want ppl to know they are the opposite gender behind the keyboard and by going to such a place, one might assume that they are... (why else be there?) other than, nice club?

Keep looking.. Though it's not my favorite term, 'shemale' is your best bet what to search on (edit: beward search keyword spamming, though: many places will add that, even if they have nothing to do with TG), unless you're looking to discuss serious, RL issues. If that's the case, the Transgender Resource Center is probably a good place to start. Why not look for normal clubs? On SL you actualy get to be who you want to be, so just go out and make friends as your desired sex

Yep as rl ftm/is person, just grumpy male swishy elf here yep it all geared to females, the few tg/ts places are ghost towns or pretty dead places. It gets lonesome some time not to have friends who get certain things, or few ts/tg friends who are females who are constantly preoccupied with looking like pretty females. I sort of just don't bother looking for support in sl here, but rl can be just as tricky, often dominated by mtf ts/tg/cd/tv's too. The dyke oriented places that say they welcome ts/tg are also slanted by those who identify as female be it rl or just sl, often if you're allowed in as guy you have to wear special tag or something that says you don't have rl male parts or something close to it. It sucks. I suggest if you want online support to message me privately here or look for some online support group fot ftm tg/ts types. Also there some ftm ts/tg/gq discussions at fetlife.com too if you want to check out that place. It mainly a series of forums you can subscribe too.

I have the same problem. I cant find anywhere with genuine tvs or cds, just males with female shapes & skins who just want to have sex.
I wonder if you could create a 'group' called realtvs or similar & advertise it somehow?

I tried to create something a while back for those who identify as masculine or male in spite of rl birth gender, be it expressed in or both first or second life, full time whatever but I guess I just didn't know how to do it right.

With the glut of clubs in SL, I'm sure you'll find plenty with don't ask/don't tell policies. I go to at least one or two clubs per week and the subject never comes up. We just dance, annoy the DJ and get in on whatever prize board is running. It's that simple. I've been to a few clubs in loli shape without anyone raising fuss at all. (^_^)
Now... If your going to IM around the room asking for teh sexx0rz, that's a different story. Then, yeah, you gotta filter your locations. Honestly, drama works this way; don't start none - won't be none. (^_^)y

Yeah I am looking around elsewhere in the cybernetic world aswell, blogs, forums etc. even though I had "high hopes" for SL.. lol Thanks for the tip, i'll look into that site.

Good luck Zander. It's amazing how others don't get certain things. Sometimes nice to be understood and know you're not the only one. SL is very dominated by Women, which is wonderful, they look beautiful and all but those who may be different it sometimes is challenge. SL I don't personally use for sex or exploring BDSM either, it just not what I want to do when I am here. Truthfully most clubs here I just don't like. I rather create something or hang out with friends when I am online. There is also Second Life forum, actually two on Fetlife.com if you're looking for specific type of activity or connection in SL you might be able to network with someone there.

I'll take the opportunity to advertise my friends' transgender-friendly strip club. (Formerly Lustful Pleasures, now Devil's Advocates.) http://slurl.com/secondlife/Caberfae/104/206/302That may not always be active at your peak times, so if you see me in-world, I will give you a few more suggestions of ones you may want to try.

Also, please check out Las Princesas Dance Club. We have both female and TG dancers, but our focus is on t-girls, as all ownership and management are TG. We feature the main dance dome, a ballroom for special events, a "no-tell" Motel 69, Shebang, a smaller, amateur-oriented strip bar, and even a shop, Trangressions, that features erotic TG posters. We have three events per week, Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays 7-9 PM SL Time. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Foale/191/194/576
