So, one of the residence, in a SIM that I monitor, dropped a partical generator (big cloud of smoke). Its just pillowing smoke and when I select Preference - Advanced - Render - info displays - particals ... there is lots of information about it.

I can't touch or edit it, so how can I remove it (or return it) with without removing all of the residents things?

Thanks, JulieAnne

The item that is emitting particles might be transparent: try "show transparency" to se if it is there, but there might also be too many particles to effectively use this.

Assuming this, or that it is a micro prim, try this. It's a lot of steps, but might work for ya.

Get as close as you can to the location it appears to be billowing out from.

Rez a cube

Draw a marquee around the cube and where it appears the smoke is emanating from.

Check the general pane of you're build window: it should show two objects (or more).

Right click the cube (without leaving edit), then more, then return.
