The region I live in is shaded on the map. Anyone know why, or have the same problem?

Can you describe this more? Is the region grayed out, or just darkened but still visible? Is it just today, or has it been like this for weeks? When others look at your region on the map, do they see the same thing?
It could be lag... for some reason my home region always loaded last after all the surrounding regions had shown up on the map, but the pre-loading appearance was either solid gray or the normal image but blurred. If the color is solid, it's also possible someone has put a 256m megaprim over the entire region, which you would see if you flew above it (it has to be below about 450m to show on the map). |

That's neat. It looks like a gray missing texture inside the client, but the region looks fine if you view it through slurl.com. The blog entry on this from last week wasn't marked as resolved, you might want to kick it to support if it doesn't clear up on its own in a day or two.
