Stipend/downgrade/fee?

K, so I did the search thing, both in the blog and in the forums.
I was born December 2005.
I was to be billed on October 27th for annual billing. I canceled my account on the 24th and sold my 512. No problemo! However, my account page says I will be charged $5.00 on the 11th for the 512 (yes, I get that you are charged AFTER, but my thing is that I already paid for what I used, and that 512 was part of the premium - FREE!).
Then, I've checked and didn't receive the 50L stipend. Is this what happens to a premium who downgraded their account? I thought account age was grandfathered in. My alt still gets the 50L, and was born in Aug of 2006.
If all this is the case - I'm kinda ticked. I'm really hoping something is screwed up.

Basics born before the June 2006 cut off date do still get the 50L stipend. I know this because I've upgraded and downgraded more than once this year. I still get 50L weekly when I'm a Basic. I still get 500L when I'm premium. As long as you sold your 512m parcel before you downgraded to basic, I don't understand that charge either. Seems you may need to contact billing.  Edit: Is it possible your 512m2 tier was donated to a group which owned the land? Ie. Yes you sold the land, but you didn't reduce the donation to the group back down to zero. That might explain the charge. |

Born July 2004 here, downgraded last October, no Stipend since. As far as I know it's been like that for some time. Downgrading to hop on the freebie boat now removes the pretty towels you stole from the premium hotel, so to speak.

Have you owned over 512 anytime in the past months ? ..
If so you need to downgrade that manually on your account page.

I wonder if there's an issue with my account because I was definitely getting 50L a week until August when I upgraded to premium again. I'd downgraded to Basic three or four months beforehand. |

Grandfathered basics get the 50 L. Grandfathered basics who upgrade to prem get the prem stipend. If you then downgrade to basic, you do that to the *current* basic account, not revert to the old one.
As for the land - when exactly did you sell it? Did you have it donated to a group and maybe have still 512 donated to the same group? If not, file a support ticket.

The land was sold before I downgraded, in fact, it wouldn't let me downgrade while I had the land. It was not out to a group.
Guess it's time for a dreaded ticket...

Do your land holdings on your account page still make any sense?
My downgraded alt was stuck with a "Allowed Holdings: 0m² / Peak m² usage: 512m² / Total Monthly Cost: $5" for well over a year but it never actually charged.
You might want to ask someone with a premium account to help you as well, my basic alt couldn't get support for it because it wasn't a premium and it couldn't own land. Every ticket would just get closed without a resolution until I made a ticket on my account and referred to the alt's ticket.
