Land buying extreme extreme frustration!

ok, I have spent weeks and weeks finding my ideal first mainland 512, finally found one and plucked up the courage to buy, but in the buy land window, the owner perpetually just shows as (waiting) - by the third big tick - pay L$xxxx to (waiting)
1) am i correct in assuming it is not a good idea to buy until this info loads properly?
2) is there any way of forcing this info to load? I have tried relogging but no good.
I am now getting slightly paranoid in case someone else snaps it up - it really is good land.

It's one of those SL things, sorry.
You might try clearing your cache (edit > network), log out and back in.
Often fixes stubborn things.
Is it just that plot that shows "Waiting...." or does it happen with other land and stuff?

seems to be just the four parcels on sale from a particular group having probs. If I do "about land" it says group owned, group: waiting. If i click on info, it brings up the group ok, but it still says waiting in the about land window, and the buy land window. If i just go ahead, is my money likely to just disappear?

I think all of them are having this problem if it's group owned. Bought a small parcel myself to add to my group and it was saying group: waiting...
It's frustrating when the tools we have do not work well.

I noticed that too on my group land several weeks ago, and it's still doing it. And yet other groups in my same sim are showing up just fine (at least I remember that they do... should probably double check before I go making wild assertions like that  ). I first noticed it when I did a buy for group last month. It was a large parcel that I spent a few hundred RL dollars on, and I was quite freaked that it didn't seem to be acknowledging my ownership. But as stated, clicking info brings the group up (although sometimes with incomplete group info), and I have normal group owner permissions. Is this common enough that it's been JIRA'ed? |

this ??? thing happens frequently. not only with groups, but with individuals as well. its not uncommon for me to buy land or edit my own objects while they are in that state. often if the group is ??? i can click info and get the groups menu to appear anyways.
so dont fret about that, i think its just sl taking a long tome to retrieve info from the db.
