I can't seem to buy any $L in world or from the website here, I've never had the problem before. Is anyone else having the same problem?

I'm not, but I have had this happen before for no reason. The first time I went to live *help* & they had me delete the payment info & readd it & clear cache, did something on their end & it worked. Second time I just cleared cache & deleted & readded info & it was ok, hope this works for you

I bought Linden dollars on the exchange today (for the first time) via paypal. It worked fine for me about three hours ago.

The only thing I've noticed is a large spike in the value of the Linden on SLX (i.e. fewer L/USD). It seems like sales are still going through, though. I moved a bunch last night when the value started climbing and my sell point hit. Locked in a nice little profit.

After the downtime on Wednesday I had a problem in-world that was experienced by many other SL residents -- something about verification was not working, so it was not possible to buy Lindens or to buy land (the "Buy Land" tab simply cannot work if it cannot authenticate you, apparently). They fixed the problem the same day, as far as I know, but this may be related...?

Hmm, I just sold L$ and had no problem, everything I put for sale sold within minutes... but also had a tenant trying to buy L$ and wasn't able to do so... something must be going on with Lindex |

update your CC info, even if it's the same info. For some reason just going through the update proses can fix this; some times.

Been An Issue For a Month

Had trouble buying lindens last month- even contacted Linden Labs! even got a live person!- looks like they started billing from the UK and credit card companies are having fits- mine (amex) blocked the charges- didn't bother to let me know, my partner had hers call her at least-
