Yes, I'm being deprived of one of the biggest "highlights" in SL...... no "Cha-Ching"!
When someone pays me the box comes up on the screen to tell me I received money, but NO Cha-Ching! That sound is gone. I've gone through everything I can think of, even asked in groups and looked for 3 days.......will one of the resident SL Geniuses Please help me out? All my sounds are turned on in the audio panel and I can't find any others that don't work : (

This is all I can think of.
* In preferences, on the Audio & Video tab, make sure L$ Change Threshold is low enough. If you want to be notified when you receive as little as L$ 1, set it to 1. * Enable the Client/Server menus (Ctrl+Alt+D) and open Client > Debug Settings - Make sure UISndMoneyChangeDown is 104974e3-dfda-428b-99ee-b0d4e748d3a3 - Make sure UISndMoneyChangeUp is 77a018af-098e-c037-51a6-178f05877c6f I hadn't realized, Debug Settings also defines UISndMoneyChangeThreshold as "Amount of change in L$ balance required to trigger 'money' sound" Hope you get it figured out... There's a setting in preferences on how much L$ needs to be transfered befor you hear the sound. Depending on the amounts involved, you may be under the limit set.

The Cha-Ching doesn't always work on every Sim. As to why, I can only guess...
There's one sim I go to a lot, and I get the cha-ching there only about 50% of the time. Some sims I go to never get the cha-ching, and a few sims I go to alway give the cha-ching. I'd like to say I don't hear the cha-ching only on days when the grid is having problems, but... heck, that's always!  LOL!( In all fairness, that last statement is not really true. The grid does work sometimes.  /me counts fingers on right hand: 1..., 2..., 3... )_____________________
