Hello everyone,
Im having a hard time changing my profile picture. Everytime i change it, it changes on the screen. But once I close the profile tab and open a new one, my old picture is back up. I had problems with this in the past but let it go, but now i really need to change it, as its way passed due and looks nothing like my av anymore. Ive tried dragging the picture to the old profile pic, doesnt work. I tried clicking on the texture window and picking it that way, still no luck. And I imed a group and it seems a few people are having the same problem. Does anyone have a solution for this?

If you just close the tab, rather than Applying or Oking, it will not update.
The same applies to many dialogs _____________________

This would appear to be an issue undergoing some discussion within the Second Life Jira
https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-3767, although I will remark that the smug unhelpful answers that appear make me LOL a lot, especially as apparently its not a topic suitable for the Jira.... ohgod this "game" is so confusing sometimes. But hopefully its just a temporary glitch, and the OP can amend their profile photo again soon. |

If you have View Admin Options on, it will not save changes to your profile. Turn that off.

79,600 online when I looked a while ago And SL has been super laggy in the past few days for me Yes, I think its buggier than ever. Friends have been telling me of a lot of lost inventory and I am finding a lot more ghosted avs inworld also. Lets hope it gets sorted to a reasonable level of instability soon. |
