For those of you who have process credit can you offer any advise in how to do it?
What happens on Paypal end if you chose to go that route? I am asking because I never
received funds via Paypal before and truthfully Paypal has always intimidated me
a bit.
I haven't used my Paypal account in few years to pay anyone.
What about receiving check?
I looked over instructions and all I am just bit confused.

I believe the check option was removed this month. Unless the amount is over 10000USD.

If you have a paypal account that is in good standing it should go through fine. I have a paypal account linked to this SL account for such purposes, but, I am unsure if that is necessary. As they can transfer funds with just the email(name of paypal account).

best of luck =)

It's all very straight forward processing the money through paypal. All you need to know is the email address associated with your paypal account then just follow the screens step by step after you hit the 'process credit' link.

One thing you need to do is make sure you can extract the money from paypal once it arrives. In the UK for example the standard paypal account only lets you pay in money. Once the account is set up you then need to register a bank account against it. In my case I provided my bank details and then paypal made 2 payments onto my account of a few pence each. Each transfer appeared on my bank statement and showed a confirmation code from paypal. You then log into paypal, type in the codes and your account is validated. It's a simple enough process and takes only a couple of days. Paypal also provide step by step instructions.

I would say that if you are dubious of the whole process then for the first time just cash out a couple of bucks. Watch it go through the process until it hits your bank then you will have more confidence cashing out larger sums in future.

Cheques are fine, and don't require anywhere near that amount. They cost an extra US$15 and take a little while to arrive. You need to add the $15 to the amount you want to receive; e.g. cash out $1015 if you want to receive $1000.

I've just looked and the minimum for a cheque is US$250.

I made a mistake.
I don't understand how to get funds from Paypal because I never done it
and no my email account from Paypal and SL isn't the same.

If you have never withdrawn money from paypal then chances are you havn't registered and validated a bank account.

Probably best if semeone from the US explains how to do this as the UK process may be different.

I'm not sure how far you are in the Credit Processing but is there a cancel option? What you said is you made a mistake and just want it back. If there isnt a cancel option then I would call LL and they should be able able to help you.

(found under help on front web page) If you have a billing issue with your Second Life account, you can call our Billing team at: toll-free (US/Canada) 800-294-1067 or long-distance (not free) 703-286-6277. They're available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

They will help it doesnt have to be a billing issue but it does have to do with L's/$ ...Good Luck:)

OK, so FD, you need to tell PayPal what bank account to send money to. PayPal calls this "verifying" and you'll see it right on the front page of your PayPal account, under the Status line. If you haven't verified, you'll need to have your bank's name, address, telephone number, its routing number, and your bank account number.

Once you give PayPal all that info, (and yes, it really is VERY safe) I believe that PayPal will send your bank 2 transactions of minimal amounts, like 61 cents or something. (Please don't quote me on this; it's been ages since I verified!) That might take a couple of days. Keep an eye on your bank account transactions; once you see the PayPal transactions go through, you can go back to the PayPal website and verify using the transaction code.

Like I said, it's been a while, so it may have changed.

Anyway, once PayPal and your bank can talk to eachother securely, you can withdraw $$ to your bank account (max $500/month for free) using the Withdraw tab up near the top of the page, second tab from the left. You can transfer straight to your account, request a check from PayPal, or have them pay your Debit card. It usually takes a couple of days for me.

Hope that helps!

Terribly sorry if I spread inaccurate information =/

I was discussing this subject with friends earlier this week. Someone who I know moves a heck of a lot of money around stated the huge check limit. I have personally never cashed out via check, only paypal, and now realizes I should have kept my mouth shut =/

Again, My apologize for being misinformed.

If you process a credit, LL will send it to your PayPal account, but then you have to log in to the PayPal site to send it on to your bank account...otherwise, it will just sit there.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.
