Cant drop attachments?

ok ive some bondage things and to set them up i have to were them and then drop onto floor by right clicking on them and selecting drop but i cant my sub has the same problem and others i have asked cant drop things i am on my own land with the right tag so i can build there any answers?

I am not sure why it would not let you drop, have you tried removing it then drop it from the inventory?

What version of the client are you using?
Did you try doing it somewhere public, like a sandbox, just in case your prim limit was used up (how many prims does you land have left, and how many prims is the item you want to drop?)

Object entry needs to be enabled for dropping to work. There is something buggy about this whole dropping thing though, it hasn't been working consistently, possibly along with all the other group stuff that was recently messed up.

ETA: bah at the moment it's insisting on public build, with group land.

Agreed, except for the "recently" part. I've never been able to divine the rules for when "Drop" works and when it doesn't. But rezzing from Inventory seems relatively well-behaved as long as the land permissions are set right and the parcel has enough prims.

Thx for the help, I have got it to work on a plot of land i own that is not group land!

I have seen prim attachmentments that even can do droppings. Looks yucky but to each their own.
