Logged off. Logged back on. 6 hours of time gone. Totally just missing. Everything I have done, bought, sold, used and every timer I have in-world has rolled back to the moment I logged on previously, 6 hours ago.

What the hell???

Oh, and now I can't log in at all. I managed it once, but now everything is down.

This is upsetting beyond words. I have lost 6 hours of progress on something that cannot be replaced and I no longer have the time to complete.

If you are a premium user, contact Live Chat after filing a support ticket. Otherwise... Can't help, sorry.

That does suck though, so you have my sympathy and I'd give you a roll of duct-tape, but you'd probably use it in the way I would.

How is it possible for a single user to get rolled back by hours of time but no one else is affected?

If I became a Premium User, would they be able to roll me forwards again or find a rolled-forward copy of me? How can I get back hours of activity?!

I don't think that is possible, but if it is I'd like to roll back to about age 30...and still remember everything I've learned since then ;)

Rollbacks, when they happen, are a region by region thing. So, only changes that happened in that sim (such as stuff rezzed there) would be affected.

Transactions and things in your inventory shouldn't be changed by a sim rollback, though states and contents of attachments you were wearing are stored in a quirky way and can be affected. If stuff in your inventory was what went strange, it might be time to play the clear cache and relog game.

Hard to tell, since it's not really clear what happened here. If it was a sim rollback, they won't likely roll it back forward.

That explains why logging in to my last location was really the location before my last location -- if that makes sense. Something weird happened to me too today. At least I didn't work on a big project.

After the server update this morning, objects that were placed on a parcel yesterday were gone.

Did your region get restarted and updated to the 1.22.2.89099 server during the 6 hours you were offline?

That's a very good possibility. Lots of sims were taking "forever" to shut down because of a memory leak in 1.22.1, so those ones could have been producing garbage snapshots that wouldn't be restored when the new version restarted.

Nobody's suggested clearing the cache yet. If you haven't already, try it!
1. Edit > Preferences
2. On the Network tab, click the Clear Cache button
3. Log out and log in again

Edit: Oops, Viktoria mentioned it
