Yesterday when I was shopping for some scripts, I paid this vendor 2000L for box of scripts. I didn't receive the item, but now I'm out of good chunk of Lindens. This happended around the same time when the network problems arised in SL, which I didn't realize at the time. I have IM the seller twice already, but have not heard from him yet. I don't know what else to do. It is so frustrating not to hear anything back. I don't know if he is just ignoring me or away because he is busy. I have bought from this seller before, but didn't have any problems then. Has this happened to anyone else, if so how have you dealt with it? Any success? Am I being too impatient?

You are being a bit impatient. It's the weekend. Also IMs get capped. Send the person a notecard and wait a few days.

check your mute list (View > Mute List) and make sure that somehow the shop owner didn't accidentally get muted. It happens more often than people think.

As Raymond indicated, send a notecard and give the shop owner some time. There are a few people out there who do something else than play in SL during the weekend. ;)

Yup...always give it a few days.......I've had similar things happen and I've only ever NOT heard back from a seller...once..... people have lives.....it's the weekend....any number of things could be going on that have prevented him/her from getting your messege. Notecards are best. Most creators out there are good folks who want their customers to be happy...and with all the issues, probably this person is going to be dealing with multiple issues like yours. Give it time... ;)

Just wanted to let everyone know that this seller did send me the proper item. I just hope I didn't annoy the guy to death with all the IMs.

It's always good to hear that things like this work out. :)
