Why would he do this?

OK so... a guy who's born date is back in June (this year) flew into my land and pushes me and my partner a bit. so I froze and tried to ask him what he thought he was doing. Somehow he unfroze (Is there a time limit or something?) and started doing it again, so I ejected and banned him. So..for about 5 minutes he kept ramming my banlines like he was trying to break through

Just wondering.. why the heck would he do that? And how did he unfreeze?

He was being controlled by the Lag Monkeys?

Freeze is only temporary and WAY TOO SHORT to actually get anything done before they continue on their rampage

and no, wasn't lag.. he flew in landed, turned to me, and when i movced out of the way aimed at my partner... and the banline bashing he even moved back to go faster it seemed lol

Yep - freezes thaw after a minute.. Prevents evil land owners from forcing people to relog elsewhere, I guess.

Why he went all silly against your ban lines is beyond me, though.

As glib as it sounds, he probably just thought it was funny.

He didn't unfreeze - he thawed. It's too warm on your property to keep him properly frozen. He likely thought if he kept ramming the ban lines, that they would collapse. It's like when the cops bust into a drug house. They have that big ram that they swing against the door - two or three whacks and they're in.

What he really needed was a dozen vikings and a big log with an iron ram's head at one end. If you see those guys at your banlines, you KNOW you're in trouble. Especially if they're wearing those silly hats with the cow horns on them.

At any rate, have the Lindens send him a letter:

Dear Resident:

Hi. It's us. The Lindens. So, we were just noticing you running up against that wall over there. The one in front of you - see it? We all have days like that, where we feel like we're slamming our skulls forcefully into a brick wall. For us, it's whenever we read the forums. You can't let things in your Second Life get you to the point where you try to harm yourSLelf. It's just not worth it. We feel your pain. Trust us. The grid frustrates us too, at times.

Anyway, we thought it might be nice if you would knock it the heck off. Frankly, it's annoying. People laugh at you for a while, but then it jut gets irritating. Then they AR you and we have to wake up from our afternoon naps and write you letters. It's a real bummer. If you keep doing it, we'll be forced to trap you humanely and relocate you to the wilds with a homing beacon around your neck. You'll love the wilds. There's mountains and streams and all sorts of nuts and berries to eat. You can be free there. It's where you belong.

Anywho, have a groovy day. We recommend that you eat some ice cream to calm down. Ben and Jerry's is good. we especially like the kind with those little chunks of stuff in it. You know? The little thingies that taste really good with ice cream?
