I have 5000m2 +/- virtual land not used and have my hands full with what I have.A friend of mine is struggling with tier costs and I have offered to donate 4096m2 to help out.O.k I know all about the thrust factor and tier renting but I have decided to go ahead anyway.I think I have two options and please correct me if I have these wrong :
Option one: I just simply join the group and donate the land with the contribute box checked.Which I assume means the group gets my 4096m2..I pay for this 4096m2 and the group can sell off 8000m2 plus/min (my 4000 plus groups own 4000)of thier land to drop their tier charge by that amount the following month.
Option two: (safer)I firstly buy 4096m2 from the group then donate it back with again the contribute box checked.Which I assume means again I pay this 4096m2 land tier and the groups land tier automatically drops at the next monthly tier bill.
This is mainland and again I know I am giving away all my rights for the land to the decretion of the group owner until I leave the group or get kicked out.Its just that I want to get this right.Are my options correct or does anyone have better solutions.I have search the forums and there are so many different situations I thought it best to ask for help before jumping into this.Any input is greatly appreciated .
