2 Issues - HUD and Pie Menu

Ever since the last viewer download, two issues have plagued me. I have put up with them, thinking I would eventually figure it out, but I haven't.

Annoyance No. 1 - I have a Huddles Quick HUD. It will not work unless I jump up to 74 meters. At 74 meters, it will work so then I can descend down to ground level. Needless to say, it impedes my performance on a runway. Is there a command that I have not enacted??

Annoyance No. 2 - The pie menu does not display the "friends" section. I have to do the
Shift-Ctl-F to find my friends list. Again, what am I missing here?

For as long as I know, scripts will not run on no-script land unless you fly up at least 50m above ground level (so if ground happens to be 24m, you'd have to fly to 74m), and then only if the script calls llTakeControls(). Once the script does that, however, it will keep running at any altitude as long as it's attached, even if you TP between sims. I really don't think any of that has changed, so unless the parcel has coincidentally changed to no-script, I can't come up with an explanation.

(I'm sorry but I don't remember the "friends" from the pie menu; I must have always gotten to it another way. I pretty much always have the chat window open, so that's where I've always gone for the friends list, I guess.)

I don't recall ever seeing access to the friends list in the pie menu either. Since they combined Friends with IMs and Chat, and called it Communications, it hasn't been accessible seperately, as far as I know, although it can probably be seperated from the IM box, like Chat and individual IMs can be.

I seem to recall seeing one on the pie menu when you right-clicked yourself. But, given how rarely I do this, I could be mistaken. Still, I seem to recall it was there, on the bottom left, next to "Appearance"...

Dammit, now I have to go check!

Looks like it did; I'm on an 1.18.5-based client and "Friends..." is right there in the 9 o'clock position. I don't think I've ever used it either (I also still have a Friends button in the bottom menu, I use that :))

It's on the 9 o'clock position in the latest CoolSL viewer as well. I just confirmed that earlier.

The "Friends..." on the pie menu was taken out at v1.23. I still use v1.22.11 and the "Friends..." pie menu item is still there.
