Eyebrows!

I really dislike the eyebrows that came with my skin (the only flaw), is there a way to get better ones?

Sometimes, depending on how the eyebrows are painted on the skin, you can cover them by creating new ones via the Edit Appearance/Hair option -- system hair handles the hair and eyebrows. If you normally wear a bald cap for prim hair, then you'll want to make your new one bald also.

Note that depending on the skin, you may or may not be able to achieve what you want -- you might have to live with it or get new skin.

It also might not even be the skin you are wearing, but your current bald cap / hair. If so, either edit the one you are wearing or make a new one.

If you dislike the shape, you can change that using the appearance sliders. The changes will be saved as part of the bald base that you wear under prim hair and can really change the look of your eyebrows and facial expression.

If the skin is mod, you should be able to tint them with the appearance sliders as well (using the ones that control hair color), but many skins aren't mod.

There is - sort of. You can edit the eyebrows on those bald caps if they are modifiable or create your own bald system hair with eye brows the way you want. Problem is they can be painted onto the skin in a way that will not get fully covered by the system hair piece.

How does one create a new hair base.....

Edit menu, Appearance, then click Hair - make adjustments and "save as" whatever name you wish.


ETA: If you are wearing prim hair, you should take that off first, so that you can actually see the underlying system hair. Usually you want the actual 'hair' part to be bald and then make the eyebrows however you want.

And if you are wearing a bald piece that is Not Modifiable, I believe you will have a "create new" or something like that option when you go to the Hair tab.

I have a bunch of wonderful eyebrow shapes I got for free from alady, I mean the shaping is fantastic on them! BUT when my ava turns her head a gunk of yellow hair pokes out....
