Hey all I've been out of SL for probably about a year now, if not more. Back in the day I used to just basically chill with my friends and quite frankly... do nothing. Needless to say, it got boring, so I left for other "game" style mmorpgs. They kept me interested for a while, but now I'm bored with the repitition of them. So... I want to find something to do in SL.  My main interest is that I've heard about a lot of good RP going on in SL. Some Final Fantasy 7 action, some Vamp/Lycan stuff, fantasy goodness... My question is for any advice on which ones to join, and how? I remember trying to get involved in a couple (no I don't remember which ones) back in the day, and I seemed to be ignored more often than not, but that could have been a lack of initiative on my part.  The styles that interest me are some of the Dark RP (Like Vampires/supernatural. Like the Underworld movies), or the Final Fantasy action. I'm not horribly interested in swords, bows, and magic as I'm a little bored with that, but I'm also open to suggestions. Thanks for anyone who takes the time to read this and give some input. Any non-rp suggestions are welcome as well! I, for some reason, have a hard time finding things I like to do on my own.  Jak |

A good place to look for RPG's is the "DCS2 RPG & Combat Resource Center" in Jarang.
This has links to over 60 different RPG's (each rpg has a poster on the wall that you click on for a notecard about that rpg's theme and sims)
Toxia is a popular dark rpg, and there are several others.

City of Corvinus seems to show promise. It's a World of Darkness-inspired sim with vampires and werewolves. Looks nice and the admins seem real active. Union Bay is pretty cool too, if you like a more paranormal angle to your dark RP (think X-files with more ghostliness).

Somebody might have already mentioned this, But there is a really nice Roleplay sim by the name of Midgar, and it's based around the canon FF7 story. Most of the people there take it pretty seriously and alot of them are really seasoned RP'ers. I would recommend it over most. Hope that helps |
