With the apparent recent increase in nut allergies, it became necessary in the UK to add a prominent label announcing "may contain nuts" on packaging for products that may have had a passing acquaintance with nuts or nut oil etc. This reached the height of ridiculousness when you could purchase bags of peanuts proudly bearing said label.
