trying to find information on intelli boards and a missing inventory piece

I wish to purchase the software or script that makes these things work but for the life of me either its so obvious that no one posts anything about it or it s SO expensive only the big clubs and agencies have them or thier affilates.

Oh strange thing yesterday
I was working and I removed (detatched a body part -belly) from myself and drop it to the floor so I could trial fit another one I was working on. I decided not to rewear it after I was done working and used the take option instead which should have returned it to its snug little home.
But no. My custom tweaked, just right belly went POOF somehow and is completly missing.
I was /am very sad as it will take me hours to remod a new one just right again. (belly rings retinting reshaping.
Anyone have an idea where it might have gone? I looked and searched my inventory and even went to the shop to see if it had landed somewhere else.

i don't know for certain, and someone who does know for certain will come along behind me to make corrections.... but based on my experiences, the way you did all this tells me you deleted it. check your trash folder.

could it be ghosted and stilll there?

try opening your land settings, go to objects, and click the button that says to show all objects owned by you. they will all be outlined in white. if you know the general area where it should be, if it's there, you'll see outlined.

Question a) What do you mean by an 'intelli board'? If we understand better what you mean, we might be able to point you in the right direction

Question b) If you right-clicked an object on the ground and chose "Take", it should have returned to your Inventory, to the folder it was in when you bought it or the folder you last moved it to.

*However*, if you had been modifying it, and just 'dropped' rather than using 'take off' (in inventory) I *think* it will have lost any edits you did. Edits only get saved if you wear, then un-wear (ie take off) an item. Then, next time you wear it, the changes you made will have been 'saved'.

So you may be unlucky and have lost your work

However, in my experience, one small consolation is that you re-do the work a bit quicker next time

if you attached another object to it it might have the title object instead of belly set filter to just past how many hours ago you did it and rez all things that say object you might find it that way

Do you mean like IntelliAD or the M&S rental boards? They don't have to be that expensive. Did you already pick something up that isn't working, or is it that you need to know what to get?

Or different names are used to describe them, so you're won't find them by searching for 'intelli board'.

However, there is one tactic that works almost all the time. Right click on something, click more until you can get to Inspect. The Inspect output will show the creator and, if memory serves, will allow you to bring up the creator's profile. If the creator is still around, and if they're at all astute about marketing, they'll have a reference to their store under either Picks or Classifieds.

(It also works to go through edit, but you need to know the trick of right clicking a second time in order to get this information in the edit box when you don't have permissions to edit an object.)
