Borked Transaction...This is New!

I guess this is more a warning post thna a question....excpet has anyone seen this before??

I am selling items from my housr...furniture and stuff I want to get rid of and I set the items for sale and posted a classified......and a few things sold which is cool. But just now when I logged in someone bought one of my couches. The blu pop up appeard and I got the lindens for it. I decided to go to the house and see if the person was still there and if she might be buying more.......and just as I arrived I see her tp out....but the couch is still there.
I thought maybe she was new and didn't know to take it.....so I click on my land to retrun all items not mine.....and it doesn't disappear. So I click on the couch.....it still says I'm the owner!!! It still says 'for sale, orginal'. It took her L's and never actually transferred to her! I freaked lol I tried to find her and IM her but of course profiles weren't loading....finally I just offered friendship, hoping she'd accept so I could IM her.......she did......and I tp'd to her and gave her the couch.

But this is a pretty bad glitch.....so A. if you go to my house and buy anything and don't get it IM ME!!! lol And be.....just be aware....if this has happened to me it might mean a new bug is manifesting and .... well.... be careful I guess. lol
has this ever happened to anyone else?

During this period while LL is screwing up "profiles".. NO ONE WHO ISN'T ON YOUR FRIENDS LIST can IM you. they can't Send you a notecard EITHER. Unless you're literally standing in front of them, there's no way to transfer inventory (product, notecards, etc) or to even IM and say "help my purchase failed.

5 hours a day, every day, for 2 weeks.

I wonder if I'm going to HAVE a business when this is fixed.

You can add friend, which then makes the person show up on your friends list....as I did....so I was able to IM the girl and she teleported me and I gave her the couch. Hopefully people are smart enough to realize that the add friend option is a way to get around the profiles being borked. We may end up having to clean up our friends lists when all is said and done....but it IS a way to communicate during these instances.

Here is another oddity - I gave someone my calling card day before yesterday, and then next time I logged on - they were on my FL What the heck is going on?

I know at least one store owner who is still autorefusing friendship offers.

I may have misunderstood but if you got the money and she didn't get the couch couldn't you take the couch back into your inventory and then drag it onto her profile to give it to her?

Normally you could Kaimi, but when profiles are down, you cant even give notecards to friends. The only way to give something to someone when profiles are down is to stand in front of them.

I read (but haven't tested) that you can drag items onto a person's calling card when profiles are down and it will deliver.
Worth a try..
