Is there a way to rebake... everything?

Hi!

I was wondering if there's some way to rebake everything? Same way we can rebake textures on our avatar's... just all the textures around me too.

Heh. Sorry, I should have been clearer. I meant without relogging/clearing cache...just exactly like rebaking textures works but everything else as well.

The texture issue's I have clear up on relog. Its just less then ideal to be doing so constantly. *kicks SL*

I've been having to relog often as well, lately. Often times one or two textures stay blurry after a teleport and then remain that way until I do a relog. Its worse when its my skin, no snapshots until a relog happens there either. Rebaking doesnt help anymore for me though, so if there is a full world rebake it would prolly be broken too *shakes a fist at sl*

as the assets servers are fried (if the issue is of today) you could tp out, wait a minute and then tp back to where you were, everything should rerender itself

You're wondering how to get other avatars to rebake or are you asking about objects and stuff??

Objects and stuff around me, for the most part other avatars look how they should. Basically... what happens to me (not just today) is that things like tree's, hair, buildings, etc. textures sometimes display other textures. For example, I just relogged because tree's were displaying textures from an unrelated building - instead of their correct foliage textures.

It happens multiple times daily. Relogging fixes it but was just curious if there is something like... world/rebake textures. lol.

I don't think there's a way to do that.

I don't think so either... but never hurts to ask! Ah well, relogging isn't so bad.
