By accident I found Marcel's 1 prim plant shop. I had a bed in my inventory while I was trying to furnish my house. I looked to see who made it, because it was a nice niche product - basically, simple, low prim, convertible, and PG rated.

I looked in Marcel's picks to see if he had other shops. I saw in his description that his 1 prim plants are copyable. Yay - I have a lot of empty space and buying no copy flowers or plants adds up quickly. I stopped by and got a few things, and am really happy.

I know this might sound like an ad but I love it when someone does something SENSIBLE instead of greedy with their products! What good is one shrub? It's just nice to have something like this. I like the library plants too but this is a nice variety of different ones.

So this doesn't sound like an ad - anyone else found some great landscaping shops, services, etc. or love to landscape or garden in SL and want to talk about it?

Well thanks a zillion :)
and since you did not mention my shops name it can't be advertising can it :D

copy or nocopy always is difficult. For my furniture store I did both for a while but found that nocopy sold better. Way better. Plus most people need 1 bed, not 10. Plants are quite different, you always need multiple. So either I could sell 10-packs, or could go for copy. Well, following what I would prefer to buy myself, I went for copy, much to the joy of the many customers I had visiting since opening the store.

Thanks a lot for the compliment :) Sales are nice but reactions like this really make my day!

I never buy no copy plants. Especially as an estate owner, it's a waste of money to buy no copy. Pretty much the only no copy plant I have is a large specialty tree that I purchased for our meditation garden. I love the plants made by that person, but they are all no copy, so I generally don't buy them on principle. It just feels like greed and a rip off to me.

I love 1 prim plants. For trees, multi prim with sculpted branches generally look best, but for small plants it's silly to waste 4-6 prims.

My favorite landscape creator is Tobias Novi. He makes amazing trees, plants, off sim islands etc. For palm trees, tropical plants, waves, and rocks, I highly recommend Antreas Alter and Naiman Broome.

You're very welcome Marcel! (does a slurl count as ad? hee)

Ayesha I will check out those stores too...

Lovely plants, flowers trees and textures though Marcel. I was really a happy camper. :)
