Nover saw it before. Go into your inventory window and type in ";(WORN" (exactly as shown, without the quotes). You'll get a list of everything worn or attached to you. If anything shows up that you know you did not intend to be wearing then right click on that thing and either Take Off or Detach from Yourself and see what happens.

If it's in Yellow, it's using llOwnerSay(), which means it's something you own. You don't necessarily have to be wearing it, but you would have to be in the same sim as it is residing. Did you recently wear or rez anything which could correspond to anything in the message?

If you're using the standard viewer default text colours, then yellow text is the colour for an object that you're the owner of.

Have you started wearing anything new since this began popping up? It'll probably be either a prim attachment (visible or non-visible, such as a poofer), or a HUD. Do as Jackie says, and note down everything you're wearing, as shown in (WORN (don't close the bracket) and then right-click on your avatar and select Take Off > Detach All.

This will remove all prim objects and HUDS (including hair etc, so you'll probably want to do this in private). Now, slowly re-add all of the items you were wearing before, that you wrote down. Wait a while between adding each item and see if the message appears again. (You might want to edit linked prims and examine the contents for scripts, too.)

Incidentally, the 'set target' name is the name of an avatar inworld. Sounds to me as though whatever is giving out this message is trying to lock onto that avatar, for whatever reason.

The only thing I have seen called a Viper is an *ahem* male attachment. ;)

Pep (The OP's sexual orientation might then be of relevance>;)

Hi Kanditta! 060302 Viper is an avatar's name. Maybe you have a scanner or avatar finder or weapon or follower that is pointing at them? It can be an accident if you did not know a gadget has a thing like that in it!

It's actually one of the nicer ones I've had, never bothered buying a new one since I got it ~2 years ago.
I wonder if there's any new versions to be had anywhere, lol.

Darn it, now I'm derailed!
