Running to issues where whole sims disappear from some people and not others.
Anyone else?
Thanks!

Yep, the sims are still there though, they're just invisible. You can get into them by teleporting via the map.

Last incident - still happening to me - big music show, could see over 30 green dots, was in the right place, I could see or hear no one & they could not hear/see me. Could hear the music stream tho. This happened recently at another show as well. |

I've seen two of my adjoining sims disappear standing in another adjoining sim. Lindens say the sim was actually still online for others and called it "cloaking". whatever that is. It lasted several minutes before resetting itself or being reset by lindens, they wouldn't say which.

The vanishing sim problem has been particularly bad over the past 10 days.
My ferry fleet manages over 8,000 sim crossings in a 24 period - so I get to find a lot of sims with problems!!! Large batches of sims seem to be going offline at the same time...almost as is if there is a network spike. When I check the sims are still online but the borders are uncrossable. I am trying to collect accurate data to submit to the network savvy Lindens Maybe the new server upgrade will improve matters (...wishful thinking) |

I submitted a ticket for it because it is an issue with the 5 sims my boss owns. The linden who responded told me he had stopped by the sims, staid about 20 minutes and hadn't seen any problems. Ticket resolved. *rolls her eyes* Needless to say, the vanishing sims thing is still a problem.

I've seen this too, in two different locations. The whole sim and all its contents just vanishes and then reappears a minute or two later, like it's been to make some coffee or gone for a pee!
I have also noticed another glitch - when I click on someone's pie chart and select 'profile', the yellow land parcel boundary appears briefly too. _____________________

I saw this during a live music event over the weekend. It was in a venue at the edge of two sims, and the performer was saying on the stream "No, really, you and your sim are NOT HERE." I don't know if she was responding to local chat or to an IM, but it seems like people within the not-visible region are able to communicate in some way to those outside/across region borders. Strange stuff.

This was happening to me a while back, and it was contingent on where I logged in. My solution was, get the owner of the sim where you log in (not necessarily the missing one - in my case it was My Home) to restart the sim, clear your cache and relog.

I had this same problem, contacted Dee Linden and she said to start a jira. I did, if anyone wants to add to it, it's here:
