OK I know it has to do with textures, I can see partial UUID's of textures loading and sizes but theres no documentation that I can find anywhere that talks about these debug function or how to use them, can anyone enlighten me? As a estate owner I would like to take advantage of any information that I can gleen from my sims, especially where texture sizes are concerned

Not in-world to see what Control-Shift-3 does, but if it happens to be the Texture Console, check https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Texture_Console for some hints about what's what.

Gee thanks, Qie, now my brain's exploded.

Just as well, I needed to get a new one anyway.

Remember, we will all be tested on the contents of that page shortly, so get studying.

That page is a definite must to be included in the new user experience.

I mostly (which isn't often) use the texture console if I want to see how texture-heavy something it. Bring up the console, edit something, take note of the number of 1024x1024's there are on some tiny object..

This is hardly an acceptable suggestion but... you can select prims one at a time and press Control-Alt-Shift-T to find out how big the textures are on each side (or one side at a time, with Select Texture).

If you edit an object, the lines for the textures in that object go orange in the texture console..
