You set your stuff to No Mod/Copy/Transfer?? Well my advice would be to not set it that way.

There really isn't much you can do against a determined copier. Well you could not sell anything and not create anything I guess. If you find someone has your product on sale then file a DMCA on them. If it's because you set it to copy/transfer then I'm not sure that much can be done.

It's true, if anybody cared they would certainly have responded within just over half an hour.

We are heartless.

no mod = cannot modifiy item
no copy = cannot make multiple copies
no transfer = cannot sell or transfer to another avatar

you say yours is set to: NO MOD/COPY/TRANSFER

which means they cannot modify it, but they can make as many copies as they want and sell them all, at any price.

ty bree and ordinal, maybe ididnt write properly, i was meaning that if the system of protecting with the mod/copy/transfer system is a good way to avoid robbers, is ONREZ vendor a good way to sell it safely?, i want to know how is less risky to do selling
thanks again!!

The OnRez vendor is a perfectly reasonable way to sell things, certainly. As long, of course, as they are set to copy/notrans or nocopy/trans.

It seems from your first post that you are setting things to copy/transfer, which will automatically mean that people can copy and resell them as much as they like - unless you put in some sort of reasonably complex script which kills the item if it is rezzed by a non-approved person (I would not recommend this to be frank unless absolutely necessary).

i feel relief, with onrez then shall be the way, rather than setting boxes with items inside all over the land :), maybe have vendors will be better, anyway reading new posts about security on SLX i am afraid my request is nothing compared to whats going on in SL inworld.

Boxes set to "sell contents" are the most reliable way of selling stuff, technically speaking. Not because SLX/OnRez get hacked, but because of grid issues - the way vendors work is much more complex, there has to be communication across sims. So, if you have the space, I would use boxes.

However, you shouldn't have any real trouble using vendors either. When the grid is working properly they are fine.

For what it's worth, I use a combination of both boxes and OnRez vendors, mostly boxes.
