I'm trying to brush up my French language skills, but they are really rough and it's an uphill battle. Consequently, I rely a great deal on translators, and I have been using Simbolic and Babbler successfully for a while, switching between the two when one or the other goes buggy, but always having one for backup.
That's changed in the last week or.... Neither will work for me now with any reliability, and I wondered if anyone knew of another alternative? This is really cramping my style.
Is there something else? That works?

I'd like to see machine translation built into the interface.
Possibly SL's troubles are affecting the translators, or some change in the Yahoo or Google systems they use, whichever that might be, is making them not work. Or both. _____________________

I wondered if anyone knew of another alternative? Is there something else? That works? It is an external interface you run in a browser outside of SL, but I find the Google translator to be even better than the Babbler. It is a pain having to switch between SL and the browser, but it works.  http://translate.google.com |

Able, I use something called the Universal Translator, which I totally forget where I found it, but which actually seems to work a whole lot better than the babbler. IM me inworld sometime if you'd like the maker's name.
