seems now half my gestures wont load as well as textures not loading cant build is it my conection or did things all of a sudden got to hell?

fair warning all, I had a few probs with the asset servers, luckily I was only trying to delete some things, but got a message that the asset server was too slow to respond and items returned to the sim.

My partner just tried buying an item, the money was deducted but the item was immediately "returned to asset server" instead of going into his inventory. I would wait for the all clear before buying anything or rezzing out any no-copy things...

Very slow LL response

Do they not have anyone in-world? The asset server has been having problems pretty much since they announced the maintenance being completed (all day basically.) And they are just now looking into it? I've been checking grid status expecting to see something and to just see the post NOW, when the problem has gone from "annoying" to "Nothing works, lost assets" is pretty darn frustrating.
[edit] Oh yeah... "Technicians are currently investigating a issue which may interfere with inworld functionality." MAY interfere???? SL is effectively down. There is no "may interfere." |

I just logged in to find incredible unresponsiveness; e.g. turn to the right and 5 or more seconds later I turn a little to the right. Everything is that slow to respond - mouse clicks, typing in chat - everything. So I logged out, rebooted the computer that had only just been started up anyway, logged back in and it's exactly the same. I've never ever known anything like it in SL. I managed to IM with 2 people who are both having such issues apparently. The status blog suggests nothing like I've found - nowhere near it.
Incidentally, the sim stats are fine. According to them everything is running nicely. _____________________
