since 1.19.xxx I have d/loaded and installed the new viewers and found, if I don't accept the "start SL now" it will auto crash at the next try.
Every time I want to play, I have to re-install AND accept play now.
Also, I cannot multiview.
I had no opportunity to stay with 1.19.xxx..
Any suggestions appreciated.

Well, I think you could have stayed with 1.19 if you wanted to.

From: Melonpips Oh Also, I cannot multiview. I know the easy one. You need to run as a window for multi-displays to work. I have mine set to window mode and then full screen so I can have google talk on the other display. As for the crashing, all I can say is, that is extreamly odd and I don't have a clue. I hope someone else has seen this before and can help you.

If by multiview, you mean run multiple copies of SL, you might need to go into the shortcut (Rclick >properties) and insert '-multiple' again after the exe. The new install may have wiped the earlier shortcut.
Can offer no help with the re-install issue other than start again and upload to a new folder completely. That should give you a fresh beginning.
It worked fine for me on first install.

I'm aware of "how" to achive multiple SL events.. but WHAT I tag onto the end of... isn't the same as previous.
My biggest concern is immediately going to the crash logger ever time I "play" SL.
Only way around it is by re-installing it every time and accepting the option to "play now"

Control Alt Delete
The 3 finger salute will help you find out if you have secondlife running in the background. I discovered SL was not completely closing down but rather crashing every time I tried to log off. If you continue to crash on log in, try to log into a different region. You can add that preference to your log in screen under preferences.
